If you see an error when creating, editing, or publishing a meeting, find the error message below.
"Committee admins may only invite individuals who are part of committees they administer"
As a committee administrator, you can only invite users who are members of the committees you manage. To invite users from other committees or groups, ask your company administrator (Admin or Super user) to create or update the meeting.
"Committee admins may only invite committees they administer"
Same restriction at the committee level — you can only add committees that you administer to a meeting invitation.
"No meeting dates and times given"
Scheduled meetings require at least one date and time. Add your meeting date(s) and try saving again.
"No proposed meeting dates and times given"
Proposed meetings require at least one proposed date option. Add your proposed date(s) and try again.
"Presenter not attending meeting"
The person you assigned as the meeting presenter is not in the attendee list. Add them as an attendee first, then assign them as presenter.
"Video conferencing host not attending meeting"
The person assigned as the video conference host must be an invited attendee of the meeting. Add them to the attendee list.
"Video conferencing presenter not attending meeting"
Same as above — the video conference presenter must be an attendee.
"External video conference URL is not well formed" / "is invalid" / "must use HTTP or HTTPS"
The meeting link you entered isn't in a valid URL format. Make sure it starts with http:// or https://, is a complete URL (not a partial link or just a meeting ID), and doesn't contain special characters or formatting issues. Example of a valid URL: https://zoom.us/j/123456789
Can't publish a meeting
Publishing a meeting requires administrator permissions — specifically, you need to be an Admin, Super user, or a committee admin for the meeting's committee. Standard users cannot publish meetings. If you don't have the right permissions, ask your administrator to publish the meeting for you.
