What is the optimal size for a user’s photo?

When uploading a user’s photo into Govenda, the optimal size is 400 x 400 pixels.  Larger photos will be resized to fit within a 400 x 400 pixel square, while maintaining their aspect ratio so they don’t appear stretched.  If the original photo isn't a square there it will be centered within that space either vertically or horizontally.
