A Standard User/Member can reset their password on their own. To reset a password from the one of the member apps:
- Open a browser and go to app.govenda.com
- When on the login screen, click the ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link below the blue ‘Sign In’ button.
- The page will refresh. Enter the email address that is used for Govenda.
- Hit the blue ‘Continue’ button.
- A note will appear that a confirmation email has been sent.
- Hit the ‘cancel & return to login’ link below the blue ‘Continue’ button.
- Go to your email inbox and select the email from support@govenda.com titled ‘Password Reset’.
- Hit the blue ‘Reset Your Govenda Password Now’ button.
- A new browser window will open, requesting you to set your new password.
- Create your new password and click the blue “Continue” button.
Admins have the ability to send users an email that will allow them to reset their password.
Follow the steps below to send a reset password email:
- Go to the ‘Users’ section found under in the left navigation menu.
- Find the appropriate user in the member roster and click on their name.
- Click the Actions button
in the upper right.
- Click the ‘Reset Password’ button and choose OK in the confirmation screen.
- After selecting the ‘Reset Password’ button, a confirmation window will appear confirming that the password reset email was sent to the user.
