Any company that has an SSO system that uses SAML can use that system to access Govenda. If a company chooses to use SSO, they have the capability to select which users can use SSO whether they are internal employees or external directors.
Follow the below steps:
1. In Admin, navigate to the Single Sign-On settings page
2. Turn SSO on by setting it to enabled on the right hand side.
3. Bulk select all users on left hand side and change their access setting to either “Govenda Sign-In Only” or “Single Sign-On and Govenda Sign-In”
4. Select your own user, and any other users you want to test with and set their access setting to “Single Sign-On and Govenda Sign-In”
5. Sign out, and test signing into admin and app with SSO from their end.
6. Assuming no issues, you can proceed to change users to “Single Sign-On” access only, as necessary, when you are ready.
*(Purchased separately)
Users will have to be created in the SSO system and also manually created within Govenda. The users must be set to active and then notified just like any other Govenda user. However, when the “notify” email is sent out to users in an SSO company, there is not a link to create a password. Instead it instructs them to log into the SSO system and they will be redirected to the Govenda application.
