Govenda’s search function helps you quickly locate content across your organization, including meetings, documents, agenda materials, minutes, surveys, votes, tasks, workrooms, announcements, and other content you have permission to access. This guide explains how to use search and review your results to find the information you need.
Before You Start
Search results are based on your access in Govenda. If you do not have permission to access an item, it may not appear in your search results.
How to search in Govenda
- Click the magnifying glass icon at the top of Govenda to begin searching.
- Enter keywords, an item title, or another relevant search term. You must enter at least three characters.
- Results will include matches from meetings, documents, agenda items, announcements, and more.
- Use the filters (date range, content type) to narrow your results.
"No matches found. Please try a different search."
- Try different keywords or a shorter search term.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your date range filter or remove filters if one is applied.
- Confirm that you have access to the meeting, document, group, or folder you are searching for.
Why a Search Result May Not Appear
An item may not appear in your search results if:
- You do not have permission to view it.
- The item belongs to a meeting, group, folder, or feature you cannot access.
- The content was recently added and may not be searchable yet.
- A filter is hiding the result.
- Your search term is too specific or does not match the content.
