Learn how to suggest multiple date options for a meeting and let participants vote on their preferred time.
Creating a proposed meeting
- Go to Meetings in the navigation menu.
- Click Propose a Meeting.
- Add guests by selecting individuals or groups
- Enter the meeting title.
- Add two or more proposed date and time options for participants to choose from.
- Optionally add a vote deadline.
- Click Save and send proposal.
How participants vote
Once published, invited participants receive a notification and can view the proposed dates. They indicate which dates work for them.
Scheduling the final date
After participants have voted:
- Go to the Meetings page.
- Click the Proposed tab and select the proposed meeting.
- Review the date preferences and voting results in the Poll tab.
- Select the winning date.
- Click Schedule to convert the proposal into a confirmed, scheduled meeting.
The meeting then moves to your Upcoming Meetings list and opens the meeting details page in draft for you to complete the meeting setup.
