Microsoft 365 Capabilities

For admin users who have a current Microsoft 365 license, they will be able to open certain Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) stored in Govenda in a new tab. Any edits made to the document will update directly in Govenda. This includes the combined board book and any other PDFs.

Once you upload a file to the agenda that is in the format of word, Excel, or Powerpoint you can open that document by clicking on the name. It will pull up a new website still within Govenda. On this page, you will be able to make any edits to the document by clicking on the Excel, Word, or Powerpoint icon shown below.

Make the required changes, you will notice that this will autosave, and then will update the file anywhere it is uploaded in Govenda. You can exit out of that tab and see the new changes made in the document in Govenda. There will be a short loading screen shown below.

You will now see the changes made on the pdf, you can exit the document to return to your agenda.
