Setting group/committee admins
Committee admins can manage meetings, agendas, and content within their committee but don't have company-wide admin access.
- Open the group or committee.
- In the Members section, look for the admin rights toggle next to each member.
- Enable it for users who should have admin rights for this group or committee.
Managing subcommittees (hierarchy)
If your organization has the advanced group hierarchy feature:
- Open the parent committee.
- Click the Hierarchy tab.
- Under Subgroups, click the + button to add a group as a subgroup.
- Subcommittees inherit some properties from their parent.
Note: A committee cannot be its own parent, and deleted or archived committees cannot be set as parents.
Archiving a group
When a committee is no longer active, you can archive it instead of deleting it. Archived groups are hidden from normal views but their history is preserved.
- In the groups or committees list, click the 3 dot menu.
- Select Archive.
Archived groups and committees will be listed under the Archived tab.
Creating from a charter document
If you choose Create from Charter, Gabii AI will analyze the uploaded charter document and suggest the group structure, name, and details. Review the suggestions and make any adjustments before saving.
